Tech Support, and I moved my way into SysAdmin.
What is your best memory with Crucial?
All the team-building events — treasure hunt, Amazing Race.
What is your favourite thing about Crucial?
I just like how it’s a small company, so the stuff that I work on matters more.
What do you like the most about what you do at Crucial?
Following on from above, just working on projects that include building and maintaining Crucial products.
What was the most interesting job you had before Crucial?
Used to work at an abattoir.
What is your proudest moment in life?
Moving to Sydney from Adelaide.
What is your funniest/silliest moment in life?
You know the broken lightsaber we have? Yeah, that was me.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
The Internet and a computer.
If you could have dinner with any fictional or nonfictional character, who would it be and what would you eat?
Someone like a King, maybe Richard III, and we’d eat whatever we want because I’m eating with the king!
Which company value resonates most with you?
Make complex simple — because a lot of what I’m doing at the moment is automation, so it’s pretty much running a script and it’ll do everything for you.
