Anchor Acquisition

So as most of you may have known, last week it was announced through a press release that the Digital Pacific Group (Crucial’s parent company) has acquired Anchor, one of Australia’s leading managed hosting providers. Welcome to the family!

We may have given away some sneaky clues throughout our posted photos as to our new office, which may or may not have been the bright orange cabinets distinct to the Sydney Anchor office (it was definitely them).

Office Move

We recently moved into Anchor’s huge head office in Sydney’s CBD, and so, long story short, Digital Pacific, Crucial, and Anchor all now reside in one homely office. The most tedious part (and somewhat, most fun) was the move between offices!

Everyone was working hard, whether that was on the phones and computers or by packing and moving buttloads of stuff. But… we also our fair share of fun and mischief!

RSPCA NSW Visit

Well, well, well, look who we found in the lobby! If you haven’t noticed on social media, RSPCA NSW, who we’ve hosted for over 3 years now ran a pop-up stall in the lobby of our building a few weeks ago, and we couldn’t resist saying hello. We were most definitely greeted with some doggo hugs and kisses (more like wet slurps), and eventually had to drag some of the guys back to the office.

Easter in the DP HQ

It’s that time of year again–the time when wearing bunny ears in public with a mouth full of chocolate eggs won’t get you awkward stares and shocked gasps from mothers who rush to cover their children’s eyes (some of us had to learn the hard way). For Easter this year, we tried to make a sincere and simple Easter video, but we decided to get a little creative and maybe got a little too investigative; we delved into the mystery as to why Timo just does not appreciate the methods of celebration during Easter.
