Ok, so, how awesome is technology. Right? Almost every single piece of technology has lead to something better, and those ‘something betters’ form a huuuuge part of society’s progression, and most of the time, a rather plays an ubiquitous part of our lives.

As defined by our almighty god of knowledge, Wikipedia, technology “can be the knowledge of techniques, skills, methods, and processes, used in the production of goods and services, in the accomplishment of objectives (such as scientific investigation), or it can be embedded in machines, computers, devices, and factories, which can be operated by individuals without detailed knowledge of the workings of such things.” Well, isn’t that a mouthful.

Now that I’ve dissected technology for you, how about some dissected technology for you? Literally. 

1. A Hard Drive Disk

This cut in half HDD is every nerd’s fantasy (if they’d like to furiously slice their dead hard drive).

2. A Computer Mouse

You use them everyday, a cut in half mouse actually shows you that they’re more than what meets the eye. Really, I just thought they were hollow inside.

3. A Laptop

A most unusual feeling is seeing a cut in half laptop open like that — it’s almost like a giant flip-phone.

4. The Almighty Nokia 3310

Yes, I’m also gobsmacked. The heavenly Nokia 3310 was cut in half. It’s frightening really, I don’t know what to believe anymore…

5. A Small Radio

Unlike the mouse, this cut in half radio actually shows us that it really is mostly hollow. Nonetheless, it looks freakin’ cool.

6. A Power Board

The power board — the most underrated piece of technology today. It connects almost all of your office’s devices, and, cut in half, is absolutely fascinating, and completely useless.

7. A Stapler

Well, you can already see inside a stapler, but, honestly, who wouldn’t want it cut in half if they had a water jet cutter?

8. A Bunch of Cables

These cables are just a long cylinder on the outside, but when cut in half, it’s almost like they become a wonderful piece of art, somehow worthy of a gallery spot.

9. A Leica Camera Lens

This one surprised me. I never thought a camera lens would be this complicated and intricate in terms of the configuration of pieces. Huh.

10. A Printer

Ever wanted to know the ultimate office prank? It’s definitely cutting the office printer in half. You might (definitely) lose your job and it would probably end up in jail time, but you might (definitely) make global news headlines. But don’t do it (or, you never head it from me).

11. A Retro 1984 Apple Macintosh

Not exactly cut in half, but still pretty cool. The original 1984 Macintosh doesn’t look as complex as some other famous PCs, but I guess that ideology brought them into their successful future — being simple.

12. An APOLLO Spacesuit

We may be skeptical about the Moon landing, but we can’t deny that their spacesuits were awesome. Here’s on cut in half, showing all of the awesome functionalities, and even a pee-bag.

13. A Nissan GTR

We all know what’s inside a car, but when cut in half, there’s no denying it looks intricate and so, so cool.

BONUS: A Millenium Falcon (model)

Not the real one (unfortunately), this model shows every awesome detail of the (in)famous spaceship. Well, now I’m gonna go buy one off eBay.
